Let's Go Shooting!

We have set up the chance of a lifetime as due to our connections in the region we are able to offer the opportunity for those that attend our tour to live fire various historic machine guns that were used in the Winter and Continuation Wars.  No other tour will offer this to its members but we are unlike any other tour group.

It is our privilege to offer this event to our tour members.

Shooting trip in April 2005 - Finland - Soviet L39 and Finnish LS26 LMG

Imagine the chance to fire the famous KP31 SMG or the LS-26 LMG!  Maybe a Maxim added to the mix as well.  Understanding the weapons of war is important as by understanding weapons and their use, this allows the historian to understand tactics and how these battles were waged.

Two of our Finnish hosts have donated their time and their weapons to make this event take place.  It is very rare to have the opportunity to live fire machine guns in a foreign nation so this is the type of event that most collectors never experience.  Also since most of the Finnish made machine guns are very rare to encounter in the Western world, the live firing event is even more special.

So here is your chance to not only learn about history but also handle and fire the arms that helped shape this history.  Both USA group leaders have been on such shoots in the past and will personally attest to just how much fun this really is – Simply put this is a blast.

This is just one more example of what we provide with our tours.  No one gives you more than we do.  Do note – This is a special event not a part of the standard tour.  As such there is an added fee of $100 to be added to the trip total for those that wish to take part in the shoot.  This fee is to cover ammo costs as well as transportation costs.  There is also a special wavier that will need to be signed by shooters.
